However, some people look at their empty or cluttered shelves in sheer panic and have no idea where to start. Styling for me is calming and comes second nature, but for some people it is so daunting! When I found Philip Mitchell’s Nova Scotian seaside cottage on Veranda I could tell that Mitchell and his husband put their heart and soul into this home. After reading the article it was true, it was a labor of love, and the house contains many family heirlooms and collectives.
