10 Favorite Kids’ Rooms

Happy Friday, y’all! Let’s have some fun today, shall we?! I’m always so intrigued when designers do kids’ rooms because they can be tricky and they’re generally not in their usual spectrum of work. When designing for kids it’s a whole different ball game. You have to consider size (mini client), functionality, storage on a whole new level, and above all… a space that can grow with the child. An elevated well designed space for a child can grow with them for years, which is the beauty of it!

Home Tour: Antique-Lover's Kentucky Home

I had seen this gorgeous terracotta and sage living room several times and I loved all of the layers and originality. The rest of the home, featured on Southern Living, is just as charming. This 1940’s home belongs to Hanna Seabrook, of Gadabout Creative, recently re-located from Charleston, South Carolina to Lousville, Kentucky.

I consider myself pretty savvy in the kitchen but it was so fun getting to learn a new recipe and become familiar with more techniques. Home Tour: French Farmhouse

It’s no secret that I adore architecture and a good curb appeal. I first saw the exterior of this French Chateau on Pinterest and was enthralled by the romantic features. I started digging to find photos of the interior and once I found the article on Veranda, it did not disappoint! The interior of this home is perfectly traditional with fresh patterns, ornate details, and the just the right amount of “countryside” flair.

Designer Profile: Jenny Keenan Design

Today I’m featuring Charleston based designer, Jenny Keenan! I’ve always admired Keenan’s beachy yet quirky style, and after reading more about her I found out we have a lot in common. We both graduated from NC State in Raleigh, NC and attended Meredith College as well. Her website states that she “has a passion for creative lighting design, one of a kind found objects and original art which she incorporates into her work to create a collected look.”

Home Tour: Traditional Blue + White Inspired Home

I often browse the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyle website looking for new inspo, and I kept coming across this stunning home by Lauren Deloach, that I just had to share! The charming, timeless design of this home is perfectly accented with the clients inherited collection of blue and white porcelain (goals). After reading the article I found that the collection was actually the inspiration for the design of the home, which I loved!
