Fall Decor Under $100

Fall is in the air! Well, sorta. The temps are still hot where I live but stores are all starting to roll out the Fall decor, seasonal items, and sweaters. Today I’m sharing some Fall home decor items, sans pumpkins. I know some people love to use pumpkins to decorate, but personally they’re not for me. It’s taken me a while to even like Holiday decor (I know, I know), so even just some Fall inspired pieces is a big step for me!

Happy Wednesday, y’all! Now that Labor Day is officially behind us it’s time to start thinking about all things Fall! I’ll admit, I’ve never been one to love holiday decor, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve grown to appreciate little things that make your home feel more seasonally appropriate. As the weather starts to cool down I’ll be sharing more Fall decor but today I wanted to share two tablescape ideas that are perfect for now and later.

Pantry Organization

If y’all don’t know by now I’m a sucker for all things organization! I could look at pictures of perfectly organized closets, pantries, or rooms for hours. There’s just something so satisfying about everything having a place. I have been following Rachel Parcell for several years and she recently finished her new home build, and it’s stunning! The whole house, designed by Alice Lane, is absolutely incredible but the pantry in particular stuck out to me.

All About Toile, Y'all.

I’ve always had a love for toile. My grandmother has a black and white toile wallpapered Powder Room and a blue and white toile Guest Room that I have always adored! Toile is classic and sophisticated but can easily be dated if not used correctly. I love seeing designers use this timeless fabric in new and inventive ways to make it feel fresh and inspired.

Happy Monday, y’all! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I had absolutely no plans which was SO lovely! Today I thought I would share with y’all Miles Redd’s chic Bahamas project. I saw it on Veranda last week and was obsessed! “Beachy” isn’t really my style but Redd’s take on coastal is right up my alley. The house is filled with blue and white, pops of citrus tones, and rattan furniture! It is to die for.

10 Favorite Kids’ Rooms

Happy Friday, y’all! Let’s have some fun today, shall we?! I’m always so intrigued when designers do kids’ rooms because they can be tricky and they’re generally not in their usual spectrum of work. When designing for kids it’s a whole different ball game. You have to consider size (mini client), functionality, storage on a whole new level, and above all… a space that can grow with the child. An elevated well designed space for a child can grow with them for years, which is the beauty of it!

Kitchen Inspiration

This past weekend I took a cooking class at Sur La Table and had an absolute blast! I consider myself pretty savvy in the kitchen but it was so fun getting to learn a new recipe and become familiar with more techniques. I don’t share many kitchens but I always love looking at them on Pinterest and Instagram.
