Fall is in the air! Well, sorta. The temps are still hot where I live but stores are all starting to roll out the Fall decor, seasonal items, and sweaters. Today I’m sharing some Fall home decor items, sans pumpkins. I know some people love to use pumpkins to decorate, but personally they’re not for me. It’s taken me a while to even like Holiday decor (I know, I know), so even just some Fall inspired pieces is a big step for me!

Toile is classic and sophisticated but can easily be dated if not used correctly. I love seeing designers use this timeless fabric in new and inventive ways to make it feel fresh and inspired.

I’m always so intrigued when designers do kids’ rooms because they can be tricky and they’re generally not in their usual spectrum of work. When designing for kids it’s a whole different ball game. You have to consider size (mini client), functionality, storage on a whole new level, and above all… a space that can grow with the child. An elevated well designed space for a child can grow with them for years, which is the beauty of it!
