This home is full of bold prints and colors, and is bound to brighten even the dreariest of Mondays! I had seen bits and pieces of McGregor’s cheery home but I loved seeing the whole thing on Southern Living. My favorite part of her home is the art, it is so curated and original and adds so much character! Whittaker designed this beautiful home as a vacation home for her clients and it is the perfect place to get away!. The house is flawlessly done and it packs a lot of punch! Meg Braff is known for her bold, punchy style and perfectly curated coffee table book! Her projects ooze color, pattern and sophistication. Many of Braff’s project have a coastal feel but her Locust Valley home is the perfect mix of traditional, eclectic, and colorful. The colors are bold and saturated to align with her signature look but the patterns and tones are a little more masculine and traditional. I adore this project and I think you will too!

When I found Philip Mitchell’s Nova Scotian seaside cottage on Veranda I could tell that Mitchell and his husband put their heart and soul into this home. After reading the article it was true, it was a labor of love, and the house contains many family heirlooms and collectives.
