My Stay with Guesthouse Charleston
Happy Friday! Even though it was only a week ago, I’m already missing my staycation in Downtown Charleston. It was the perfect little getaway and change of scenery that I so desperately needed!
Last weekend, I was hosted by Guesthouse Charleston in one of their gorgeous properties and I’m thrilled to share with y’all a full recap! I know y’all saw snippets of the weekend on my Instagram but today I’m going to share a tour, some details about the properties, and of course my discount code! I also wanted to share more of their other properties that I love.
Before we get started, I know traveling is a sensitive subject right now, and potentially controversial. While we are adjusting to our “new normal”, I think it’s important to remember everyone is doing their best. With that being said, I felt completely safe the whole weekend and took all proper precautions necessary to protect myself and others. I personally feel more comfortable staying in a private home instead of a hotel right now, which is why Guesthouse was the perfect option for me. The house was immaculate and the Guesthouse team is going above and beyond to make sure the homes are safe and clean for each guest. They are doing an ozone clean after each stay to ensure their guests stay safe and healthy. When you step into their properties it is clear how much they value the quality of your experience and your safety and wellbeing while you are staying in their homes!
When choosing which property I wanted to stay in, I chose this home because I knew y’all would LOVE all of the blue & white. The decor and selections were stunning and so well done. I was beyond impressed! A lot of rentals tend to feel mass produced or cheesy, but Guesthouse’s properties are all individually decorated with their own flare and style. This property, located at 204 Saint Philip, is a 4 bed 3 bath home, with two fabulous porches, and an open concept living and dining area. It would be the perfect spot for a girl’s weekend! It is bright, airy, and makes you feel right at home. Check it out!

I adore the house we stayed in! However, Guesthouse has 15 other stunning properties to choose from as well. The homes range from 2 Bedroom to 5 Bedroom so you’re guaranteed to find a home that fits your needs. Another feature that I love about the Guesthouse properties, is that they purchase the homes in clusters. So, most of the homes have communal outdoor areas and spaces to hang out and gather. Which makes it the perfect choice for weddings, family reunions, or any event with a large number of people. Your group can rent multiple homes in a cluster and allow for everyone to have their own space while still being close and having an area large enough for everyone to come together. Another aspect I love about the homes is the ample communal living space in the kitchens and living rooms, making it easy to have meals in. Especially now, it was so nice being walking distance to so many restaurants and coffee shops to grab take out and take it back to the house to eat. All of the properties are in a great location that is convenient to anything you would need downtown!
