Coffee Table Books
I mentioned on Instagram recently that coffee table books have been such a great escape during this time. I’ve always loved coffee table books and using them for decor, but I’ve rarely spent the time to read through them in depth and looked at every page. I’ve loved looking through my collection over the past few weeks as a source of inspiration. I’ve shared a few images on my stories and y’all have loved them as well, so I figured I would share with y’all my favorite coffee table books in my collection, along with a few that are on my wishlist.
All of these photos featured are ones I took of my favorite images as I was flipping through each book. Enjoy!
The Joy of Decorating
The Joy of Decorating by Phoebe Howard is a fabulous book full of classic interiors and traditional style.
Out East
Out East, is definitely in the top 3 books in my collection. The homes and gardens in this book are absolutely stunning. I know y’all will LOVE this one, definitely add it to your list!
Veranda Escapes
I snagged this book a few weeks ago on Amazon, and have loved it. There’s a lot of outdoor living situations and gorgeous gardens and coastal homes.
Living Floral
This book is a little different than the others because it’s not all interiors. Living Floral is a gorgeous show of floral arrangements organized by season, and there is even some great tips for creating your own arrangements.
Beautiful
I’m sure everyone already owns or has heard of Beautiful by Mark Sikes, but I couldn’t leave it out. This is my all time favorite coffee table book. Every single image is better than the last, it is truly inspiring. If there is one book you need it is this one!
A Place to Call Home
Another all time favorite is A Place to Call Home. My grandmother went to a book signing and got this book signed for me, which is so special. Y’all always love James Farmer’s projects I share on Instagram and this book is full of his gorgeous interiors.
Charlotte Moss Garden Inspirations
As you can tell from my Instagram, I love a good garden. This Charlotte Moss Garden Inspirations book is right up my alley!
The Well Adorned Home
As y’all know, Cathy Kincaid is one of my all time favorite designers. Her work is timeless, inspired, and absolutely gorgeous. I picked up this book last year when it came out, and I have looked through it countless times. I highly recommend!
Nina Campbell Interior Decoration
Last year I heard Nina Campbell speak and attended her book signing, which makes this copy special to me. Nina Campbell’s style isn’t what I normally gravitate to, it’s a little more modern and European than my taste but I appreciate and respect her work immensely. Although all of the projects in this book aren’t my favorites, there are some rooms that are absolutely breathtaking!
The Art of Elegance
The Art of Elegance, is another great option if you love more traditional interiors. The homes in this book are gorgeous! I gave this book to my grandmother two Christmas’ ago, and it was a huge hit so I ended up getting one for myself as well.
The Welcoming House
My grandmother gifted me a copy of The Welcoming House when I graduated college and it has become one of my favorite books. This book is filled with timeless neutrals, and sophisticated interiors.
Dream Design Live
Paloma Contreras is a rising star in the design world, her work is fresh and original, which I love. Her style is the perfect mix of traditional and contemporary which I love! Her book is full of bright and happy projects, which is perfect to brighten the days of quarantine.
