Atlanta Homes Magazine is one of my favorite Interior Design magazines to get inspiration from. Their recent article about the 2018 Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse, titled “Pinnacle of Style” caught my attention with the variety and level of design. I always enjoy showhouses due to the fact that so many designers with varying backgrounds and styles come together to create an inspired and cohesive home. This showhouse in particular is absolutely stunning and the work is impeccable! Elizabeth Godwin Interiors

Liz Godwin is one of my favorite designers to follow on Instagram! Her work is always thoughtful and timeless with the perfect mix of old and new. Liz’s kitchen design is no exception. Her use of vintage and antique pieces make the room feel warm and homey but simultaneously fresh and modern. Godwin’s layers of color, texture, and pattern make the space feel elevated and unexpected. Godwin’s first showhouse was a stunning success!

Lauren Deloach Interiors

The sophisticated color palette selected by Atlanta based designer, Lauren Deloach, was the perfect choice for this chic and fresh Living Room. Deloach’s use of floor to ceiling drapery panels elongate the space and frame the windows creating an inviting and defined living space. The room is bright and fresh, but warm and comforting with the use of natural woods and brass tones. I absolutely adore the fireplace vignette in this room. The well balanced antique books and the oversized brass lanterns pair are perfectly with the whimsical art. Bravo, Lauren!

Jessica Bradley Interiors

Jessica Bradley’s Master Bedroom design is romantic, decadent, and serene. The curved cove ceilings in this space are unique and special, and Bradley’s use of wallpaper effortlessly highlight this architectural detail. In a Master Bedroom design it is important for the space to be relaxing and welcoming as a place where clients unwind, and Bradley achieved this wonderfully. The additions of rich textures, like the velvet bed frame, elevate the room to the next level with a touch of glamour.

Margaret Kirkland Interiors

Wow.. just wow! I always enjoy Margaret Kirkland’s traditional style with an updated twist. This Breakfast Room design is perfectly whimsical with a garden party vibe. I’m obsessed with Kirklands choice to mix various metals and the rod iron chandelier is a stunning choice. The rattan cane chairs and abundance of topiaries are a dreamy combo!

Lauren Elaine Interiors

This dual space by Lauren Elaine Interiors is functionality G O A L S. The transitional Butler’s Pantry and Laundry Room is practical and pretty and almost makes me want to do laundry… almost. Gray cabinetry with gold hardware is one of my favorite combos and makes this space look fresh and polished.

Gordon Dunning

Gordon Dunning Interiors had the challenge of making the hallway and entry ways feel cohesive and complete. I personally think they did a phenomenal job! They took it to the next level by doing fully upholstered walls and matching table skirt which turned out phenomenal. They paired the fresh fabric with an antique Asian print which was a spectacular choice! The back entryway is more traditional but equally welcoming and cherry. The classic print used for the drapery next to the navy storage bench makes this space handsome and timeless.

All of the rooms in the showhouse were thoughtful and well done, I’m so impressed with all of the designers rooms!
