House Tour: Charming South Carolina Home

While browsing the Traditional Home site I stumbled on a home designed by Michelle Smith of Studio MRS (newly Michelle R. Smith Interiors) for Jacqueline Bourg, a wife and mother living in Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina. I’m partial to Southern homes and this one in particular is as charming as it gets. The curated details meshed with antiques and fresh neutrals make the space crisp and welcoming.

The home is positioned on the May River surrounded by pines and the infamous South Carolina moss (which is stunning!). The natural elements of the South Carolina landscaping are tied into the home through neutrals, greens and textures. I absolutely adore the charm and subtle whimsy of this home. There are so many unexpected design elements that elevate the space and make it the perfect custom home for this family.
